The Thames Tideway London's River Welcome to Tideway, the internet information service about the tidal Thames. The tidal Thames goes from the sea as far inland as Teddington in Middlesex, and in just under 100 miles offers a wealth of different scenes - from the (almost) open sea in the estuary, to the green and leafy islands (or aits as they are known) around Isleworth and Brentford, with the unique views of London itself in between. ![]() Tower Bridge Tideway is intended mainly to serve the needs of the leisure boater on the tidal Thames, but also includes details of companies running passenger services. If there is sufficient demand, I may add more tourist orientated information too -- what do you want to see? All comments or suggestions will be gratefully received. John Kennett |
